Mentor sessions are an essential part of working with students, be it within general yoga classes, trauma-informed yoga or as a yoga therapist.
These invaluable sessions provide an opportunity for yoga practitioners to receive guidance and support from experienced professionals in the field.
Through mentorship and supervision, yoga practitioners can gain valuable insights, refine their skills, and develop a deeper understanding of the practice.
Whether you are just starting out or looking to take your to the next level, mentor sessions can help you achieve your goals and offer your students a deeper insight into yoga as a therapeutic practice.
When working with individuals professional support is not a luxury but an absolute necessity.
My experience of offering trauma-informed yoga therapy, delivering trauma-informed training courses and over 6000 hours of offering individual yoga and creative therapy, enables me to support and guide yoga practitioners to grow and develop their own unique approaches.
A mentoring/supervision session(s) can include (but not limited to) the following:
Safeguarding issues and concerns;
Adopting a trauma-informed approach;
Working with imposter syndrome;
Practical guidance and ideas for working with specific health conditions;
Exploring mental blocks that hinder teaching skills;
Guidance on building a sustainable teaching schedule;
Establishing of boundaries such as time, energy, money etc;
Improving communication skills;
Self awareness and self care techniques;

MENTORING (ONLINE)
An Individual Mentoring session for one hour, offered online.

These sessions offer you the opportunity to discuss specific cases, wins and concerns and include aspects of personalised therapeutic support.
